Precious Pearls | A Reggio Emilia Inspired Child Care Centre

Our teachers are highly qualified Registered ECE’s with the College of Early Childhood Educators that meet the standards and regulations outlined by the Ministry of Education. They are loving, caring, and experienced that work as partners with parents to help each individual child. All of our educators have been trained the Reggio Emilia Approach to help the children be long-life learners, responsible, and well-adjusted individuals. Our RECE’s and Supervisor will always continue to learn and develop their skills and studies to stay abreast of the child care developments and exceed the requirements of their responsibilities towards the children.

At Precious Pearls, we Accept children between the ages of 18 months to 6 years old by offering full time and part time spots. Introducing a warm caring and loving atmosphere with excellent curriculum promoting active learning and creativity. Our Centre is fully insured and equipped with excellent security. Our Centre offers fresh hot meals prepared daily on premises. We follow Canada’s Food Guide by preparing nutritious, well-balanced meals. Our cook has a vast knowledge of many international dishes to promote diversity during meal times that allows our children to enjoy homemade meals they are familiar with at home.

At Precious Pearls, early development is fundamental to the growth of children. Your child will be off to the best start possible. Through our excellent approach to the curriculum, your children will thrive in an atmosphere that encourages academics, creativity, independence, and social skills. Our curriculum is carried out by Reggio Emilia Approach that focuses on the nature of teacher-child relation. Working on projects based on ideas arise from children’s theories and interests that are used to teacher’s planning. Topics can be also provoked by children’s conversations. This is the basis to the teacher’s thoughtful introduction of materials to stimulate the emergence of the child’s investigation. They work together to form hypotheses on the direction of a project and the potential learning outcomes, but allow much room for children to take the project in different directions.

Junior Pearls

Aged 18 to 30 Months

Our Toddlers will be exposed to exploring and discovering their will through many natural experiences and materials provided.

Senior Pearls

Aged 2.5 to 6 Years

Preschoolers will learn to develop initiative and sense of accomplishment by getting the opportunity to do things on their own and by getting them ready to school level by incorporating letters and numbers through their daily activities.

Super Kiddie

Age 4 to 6

I am grateful for the loving care and guidance my son receives at Precious Pearls. The Supervisor and teachers guide each child with ease throughout the day. My son learned to bean active learner and participant since he has joined Precious Pearls. My son enjoys the extra curricular activities such as soccer shots and music held on Fridays.

Precious pearls is an amazing daycare centre. My daughter absolutely loved going there. Caroline is very warm, caring, responsive and knowledgeable. The staff is amazing too, always friendly and welcoming.

The centre is spacious, clean, organized, cheerful and most importantly, the children seem happy all the time.

I loved to receive a daily report on what my daughter did all day with lots of activity pictures. It was very comforting to see that my daughter was not not only being taken care of but, she was learning, growing, making new friends, as well as experiencing new things daily in a fun and enthusiastic environment.

Would definitely recommend this place.

I don’t even know where to start, Caroline is probably the best daycare teacher who ever lived! My daughter just loves her. When my daughter started daycare at 2 years old she didn’t know how to say or do much, Caroline (aka Coco) Taught her so much and Caroline is also so amazing with the kids, has patients from the moon and back! If you are thinking of putting your child in Precious Pearls you won’t be sorry, your child will be under the best care you could ever ask for!
